Deep Draw Techniques

Deep drawing describes a technique where a flat plate is deformed regardless of the metal type used to get the desired shape. The drawing can result for example forming cylindrical, rectangular and various intermediate forms. We guarantee an accurate result to a fraction of a millimeter. Even the fluctuation regarding the plate - and wall thickness is minimal.
There are several techniques, namely conventional deep drawing, reverse drawing, hydro-mechanical deep drawing and hydro-mechanical transformation.
When clicking on a technique you will be explained immediately what the relevant techniques entail, and above all what are the advantages and disadvantages. You also get an simultaneous animation of the working manner.
For you as a potential buyer, it is important to know that deep drawing is a proces executed in steps. This means that a product is produced in stages and in addition that special tools are produced for the different stages of production.

The art of deep drawing is to reduce the number of steps to a minimum. This can be achieved in several ways.
First, in consultation with our customer, we mututally decide to adapt the design so that only the strictly necessary operations are performed. Geerts Metaalwaren therefore strongly advocates the reaching of a mutual consent dealing with the product development as regards
