Hydro forming
Hydro forming is a technique by which with the help of a liquid substance the product is squeezed against a counter-form . This has the advantage that, with a divided tool non-unloading forms can be produced. It is also possible to achieve complex forms by means of hydro-forming An example is a transition from round to square or into another shape. A combination of several shapes is also possible But in the same time you can also achieve sharper edges and a higher form of stability. That depends on the fluid pressure, which can amount to around 2000 bar.
To achieve a certain shape, it may be necessary to combine hydromechanical forms and other transfromations into one new shape, taking into account that the hydromechanical transformation is the original production form.
